I love this sort of thing so couldn’t resist posting about it.
Bembo’s Zoo is a wonderful child-friendly website that’s been running for years. Apparently it began its life as a children’s ABC animal book, illustrated by world-renowned graphic designer, Roberto de Vicq de Cumptich.
Its concept revolves around the idea of an abecedary where the letters of the alphabet are used to create animals with the Bembo typeface.
It’s such a playful, instantly gratifying way for kids to start familiarising themselves with the alphabet. My two gals love watching the animals unfold and become completely mesmerised by the sounds they make.
We’re huge fans.
Check out Bembo’s Zoo for yourself (up your speakers for best results) and let me know what you think.
