Heard of Antz Pantz? They’re the Easy Way to Keep Kids Clean

Hot on the heels of yesterday’s Baba Indaba find I thought I’d showcase another clever invention I discovered whilst browsing the stands at Cape Town’s biggest baby expo.

Don’t these look sweet?

Want to know what they’re called?

Antz Pantz. Cool name huh?

Want to know what Antz Pantz do?

They’re outer pants that help keep inquisitive, always-on-the-move kids cleaner for longer. Made from a light weight, splash-resistant fabric that’s quick drying and easy to wash, Antz Pantz are ideal for outdoor play (grass, mud, sand), travelling (airports, cars, aeroplanes), camping (bushes!) and shop floors (spilt ice cream anyone?).

What’s really great about these hard-working pants is that they’re easy to pull on and off, and they have elasticated straps with two size adjustable buttons so kids can move freely (even if chaotically) without the pantz cramping their style (or their mess – pity!).

Where can you buy them?

I had a wee word with the brains behind Antz Pantz, Angela and Amanda (who are identical sisters, by the way) and they had this to say:

“Anyone can order online via our website www.theantzpantz.co.za under the contact us section. You can chose your size and colour (rainbow red, sugar plum purple, cloudy day grey, olive and popeye green, princess pink) and then order via email: theantzpantz@hotmail.co.uk. As soon as we have proof of payment (either via fax on 0866-900-347 or email), we will post them anywhere in South Africa FOR FREE!”

How much do Antz Pantz cost?

6-12 months and 12-18 month sizes cost R129. 18-24 months cost R139.

Oh, and they pack away into a small re-usable pouch for easy access and convenient travel.

Here’s to clean kids and a whole lot less laundry to worry about.

I’m a fan!
