A Simple Trick That Gets Kids to Eat Their Dinner

I’m so over the war of wills!

By the end of the day (and many, many negotiations later) my mediation skills lack the persuasion I usually need to cajole my two gals to eat their dinner. cream-trick

I suspect I’m not the only one?

I tried a little trick the other night and it worked so well I thought I’d share it with y’all.

One word: cream.

Huh?

I’m serious. You don’ t need to go through the hassle of whipping up a white sauce. Simply splash a little fresh cream in with the veggies or chicken you’re cooking up for your kids and kapow, they’ll gobble up their supper in no time.

Us grown ups like a creamy, saucy splash of flavour and so, it seems, do tiny tots.

My cream trick works reeeeally well when I add a little melted feta to the mix and pour it over pasta or rice.

No more whining, wrestling or willful waling, just yum-yum food in tums – “Thanks mum!”

Give it a try tonight.
