Things to Do With Kids in Cape Town

If  you haven’t logged onto Cape Town Magazine yet, you should – it’s well worth a visit.

Amongst other newsworthy features (nightlife, eating out, events – for grown-ups) the mag has a whole section dedicated to things to do with kids.

clay-cafeI took a leaf out of its (cyber) book on Saturday and took my kids along to the Clay Cafe. It was a really fun experience. Messy, but cool. The environment is arty (right up my alley, but possibly not ideal for kids younger than two – lots to touch and break!), the materials are great and even the coffee is (surprisingly) fab. My eldest got to paint a green giraffe with teal spots and I scored a custom-made milk jug for my troubles. Nice!

There are loads of other activities for kids showcased on Cape Town Magazine such as go karting, action paint ball (for the older set) and ice skating (which I quite fancy myself!).

With almost a whole week of holidays left to go, these are just the kind of activities to prise my monkeys away from the deluge of chocolate that has overrun our house!

Check out Cape Town Magazine for more handy holiday help.
