DIY Easter Crafts (For the Whole Family)

Good Lordy! It’s the first day of the Easter holidays (in my neck of the woods) and my little tiddliwinks have had me gasping for bedtime – it’s looong before lunch!

Luckily I have a list of websites with loads of Easter craft ideas just for kids. In the interest of saving your sanity (and mine!) I thought I’d share them with you…

1) First up the doyenne of craftiness (in more ways than one – erm, how long did she spend in jail again?) the marvellous Martha Stewart. Love her or hate her, some of these endearing Easter crafts are fairly simple to execute and too cute not to try (my fav? Her podgy egg pigs).

Dame Martha also has a couple of great Easter game suggestions for kids – I reckon my girls would love this lawn-bowls idea!

(BTW Martha also offers these clever Easter templates for grown ups)

2) My next Easter DIY find is via BloesemKids – a great kids’ design blog with regular guest posts by one of my favourite bloggers Khali from Little.Lovely. Check it out.

3) Finally, the wondrous genius Molly from The Purl Bee offers this super cute Bunny Finger Puppet tutorial (five fingers = a fine fuzzy family, methinks!)

OMG! Sounds like the tupperware drawer in the kitchen is being redesigned (again!) – how is it that children are such angels at school (apparently!) and boisterous little trolls at home? Best I get those fidgety fingers cracking with these crafts…

Byyyyeeeeeeeee for now!
