We’re very lucky, us mountain-loving folk down in Slaapies.
Not only are we spoilt with sweeping views of ivory beaches and jagged cliff faces, we get to enjoy the outdoors and its (sometimes blustery) splendour with the kids, dogs and baby bag in tow.
My favourite outdoor go to place? Noordhoek Village.
Why?
- It’s relaxed n’ rustic
- Kids love it
- (Well-behaved) Dogs are welcome
- Horses visit
- A resident worm farm keeps things green and growing
- There’s a Toad
- A Barn
- A Café
- A Nursery
- A Wi-Fi hotspot
- A lesser spotted rugby captain
- And (importantly) a GREAT playground for kids
The fun doesn’t end there
February’s line-up of cool things to do with the kids is looking pretty inviting: puppet shows, magicians and magic tricks, interactive theatre, face painting, creative play…
